System

The Town of Amenia owns and operates Water District #1, which encompasses four groundwater wells, treatment systems, and a 200,000-gallon storage tank, as well as 15 miles of distribution system piping and appurtenances. It serves approximately 1,000 people (more than 25% of the Amenia population) through 302 service connections and encompasses the town's central business district.

You can use a credit card to pay in person or by click here for Online Payments. E-Checks are also accepted online. After-hours payments may be dropped in the locked metal box attached to the wall outside the Town Hall main entrance.

 

Water Rates

  • Single Family Home: $75.00/5,000 gal.
  • Multiple Dwelling Home: $110.00/5,000 gal.
  • Commercial Business: $135.00/5,000 gal.
  • Additional water: $5.00/1,000 gal. over 5,000 gal.
