Wassaic Fire Department

Dial 911 - For Emergencies

The all-volunteer Wassaic Fire Company, established in 1935, protects and serves our community of 4,000 residents in a 43-square mile area. The Company is dispatched by the Dutchess County 911 System and is connected to the police radio network. It responds on-demand to emergencies 24/7 and provides mutual aid to fire companies in neighboring towns.

A Board of Fire Commissioners comprise the governing body of the District and is responsible for the District's finances, personnel, and operational policies, and owns and operates the fire house and all apparatus.

We are always looking for new members to help us serve our community. If you are interested in an application, please email _________. You can also stop by on ______ nights or whenever you see us here.
