Planning Board
Overview
The Planning Board is comprised of seven members serving seven year terms. The Board has a full-time secretary. The Planning Board reviews and approves site plans, special use permits, and subdivision plans, ensuring that developments are zoning compliant and align with Amenia's Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Board's Consultant Engineer is John Andrews, Jr.,PE - Rohde, Soyka & Andrews and Attorney is Paul VanCott, Esq. Whiteman Osterman & Hanna, LLP.
Planning Board Applications:
- Site Plan
- Special Use Permit
- Lot Line Adjustment
- Minor Subdivision (three lots or less)
- Major Subdivisions (four lots or more)
For an application to be placed on an agenda, the Planning Board Office must receive the following by [TIME DAYS] days prior to the meeting date. Click here for meeting dates and submission deadlines.
- All application fees
- Three paper copies of the application and all submissions
- A digital copy of the application emailed to jwestfall@ameniany.gov
