TOWN OF AMENIA ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
                                                           NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Town of Amenia Code §121-59(J), the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Amenia (the “ZBA”) will hold a public hearing on the application of Angelina Tan (the “Applicant”) for two area variances related to a ground-mounted solar array (the “Application”) on lands located at 396 Leedsville Road in the Town of Amenia, New York, 12501, which parcel is further identified as Tax Parcel No. 7267-00-547468 (the “Project Site”). The Project Site is a 6.71-acre parcel located in the RR Zoning District.  

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Applicant seeks area variances from Town of Amenia Code §121-52.1(H)(1) to allow a 61’ side yard setback when 100’ is required and §121-52.1(H)(7) to locate the array in front yard rather than side or back yard.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the ZBA will hold the public hearing on the Application at a duly-noticed Special Meeting on November 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Amenia Town Hall, 4988 NYS Route 22, Amenia, New York 12501.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the Application is on file in the Amenia Town Clerk’s Office for public viewing and inspection during normal business hours. The Application can also be viewed and downloaded from the Town’s official website at www.ameniany.gov.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the ZBA will hear all persons interested in the Application at the public hearing noticed herein.  All persons may appear at the hearing in person or by agent and may also submit written comments to the ZBA at or prior to such hearing by emailing comments to ZBA Secretary Ericka Howard at ehoward@ameniany.gov.
