NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF AMENIA

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Amenia on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, shall have a Public Hearing on the Preliminary Budget of said Town for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026, and any interested persons shall have an opportunity to be heard at said Public Hearing.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the proposed Preliminary Budget is available for review Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Amenia located at 4988 Route 22, Amenia New York. It can also be downloaded from the Town’s website at www.ameniany.gov or available by email upon request to the Town Clerk, Dawn Marie Klingner, dmklingner@ameniany.gov.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the proposed salaries of each member of the Town Board, Town Supervisor, Town Clerk, Town Superintendent of Highways and Town Justices are as follows:
                                         Supervisor                                   $27,947.00
                                         Councilmember (4) Each             $  6,637.00
                                         Town Justice (2) Each                  $20,256.00
                                         Town Clerk                                  $45,891.00
                                         Superintendent of Highways      $74,935.00
