Wassaic Creek Public Fishing AccessThis 9 acre parcel of land is located in the Town of Amenia, New York between Rt 22 and Old Rt 22 (County Route 81). This land is owned, managed and maintained by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). Access to the Creek, which is known to contain a fair amount of wild brown trout, is available from the designated parking area on Rt 22 just north of Cousins Mini Mart and from Wassaic Park in Wassaic.
